USA-Auto-Online.com Poland Sp. z o.o. is a partner of the American company USA-Auto-Online, which offers high-quality services related to car purchases in the USA and delivery to customers in Poland.
The client’s business has grown significantly in a relatively short period of time. As USA Auto Online strives to provide its discerning customers with an exceptional experience with its services, both in terms of accessibility and performance, it was clear that its current portal would not be able to handle such a volume of traffic. Another reason was their need to expand and expand their offering – something that was not possible with their current solution.
Our project included the redesign and development of a promotional website. The goal was to bring all products and services together in one place to offer customers the best possible experience. The project was carried out in SCRUM with a team consisting of 2 software developers, 1 business analyst and 1 delivery manager. We have 10x faster auction display and 100x faster auction reaching complex queries with filters and optimized auction update time from 2 hours to 7 minutes. Everything was achieved on a machine with 10 times less RAM and 8 times less CPU. These performance changes have enabled us end users to process and offer four times more auctions than on the old site. We have rebuilt the existing auction portal with the latest technology and IT standards. The new website was implemented on Umbraco CMS – a fully featured open source content management system.
As part of the advertising website, we implemented a blog module in which the client’s content editors promote various car models. A detailed cost calculator has also been created that allows the end user to calculate the exact cost of transporting a vehicle from the USA directly to their place of residence. As a result, our team delivered a modern website layout with restructured website content and a clear, intuitive navigation structure.


Konrad is one of the founders of DevelopX and leads the company as Managing Partner. He founded DevelopX in 2019 as a partner of TruVenturo, one of Europe’s leading company builders in the digital space. Prior to founding DevelopX, Konrad was responsible for founding and scaling several tech startups at TruVenturo and realized several successful exits.
After studying materials science, Konrad worked for several years as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in Hamburg, advising companies in the manufacturing, high tech and chemicals sectors. Konrad holds an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona and lives in Hamburg.
As an engineer and passionate entrepreneur, Konrad works with companies in the energy, industrials and logistics sectors and advises our private equity clients in due diligence or portfolio optimization.
